January: Introduction to Money Concepts
Students will develop an awareness of money, its uses, and the importance of saving.
February: Basic Financial Decisions
Students will learn to weigh options and make informed choices about spending and saving.
March & April: Understanding Earning & Spending
Students will learn how money is earned, the concept of working for pay, and how to make choices about spending.
May & June: Introduction to Saving & Budgeting
Students will understand the importance of saving money and how to plan for future spending.
July: Concept of Work & Community Helpers
Students will learn about different types of work and how jobs contribute to the community.
August: Understanding the Value of Work
Students will gain a deeper appreciation for work and how it contributes to personal and community well-being.
September: Sharing & Charity
Students will understand the value of helping others and how they can contribute to their communities.
October: Simple Introduction to Legal Concepts
Students will learn about the importance of rules and agreements in everyday life.
November: Introduction to Entrepreneurship
Students will begin to understand what it means to create something of value and how businesses operate at a basic level.
December: Annual Review & Final Exam
Students will review important concepts from each month and prepare to write a final exam.
